Default Panasonic Th-42pz80u (24p???)

I Am Somewhat New To The Whole Plasma Thing And Would Like Someone To Explain To Me 24p. I Noticed My Television Does Not Have 24p Cinematic Playblack, But It Does Have 24p Playback (2:3). Also Does My Panasonic Dmp-bd30 Play 24p?

If you type your entire message in capital letters the software will leave only the first word capitalized. Try taking off your CAPS LOCK button.

The 80U handshakes with a 24Hz picture and displays it at 60Hz using 3:2 pulldown.

The DMP-BD30 can output 1080p24. You will likely not notice a difference between the player in 24Hz mode and 60Hz mode. 3:2 judder is hard to notice for anyone and has been on DVD's for 12 years.

Thanks, I was worried I made a wrong purchase. My wife thought a television purchase was foolish since nothing was wrong with our current set. This setup seemed to be a nice compromise for us, it is good quality and reasonably priced. After reading thru this forum I realized how little I really knew and I got corncerned my purchase was not the good deal I thought.
