Best video card w/HDMI output & for #D gaming?

Suggestions anyone? What would be the best bang for your buck on a video card that has an HDMI output, blue-ray disk support & playback capabilities as well as handling high end 3D gaming?

4850-under 200
4870-under 250 512mb
4870 1 gig 269 and up shop around
4870x2 450 and up 2 gigs
All are hd cards support Blu-ray htpc
Duel dvi hdmi compatable and come with a dvi to hdmi adaptor or use a dvi to hdmi cable.
Lots of power I have the hd4850 and love it. Building a new pc soon on a quad chip going to get the hd4870 1 gig or x2 2 gig.
The hd4850x2 is the best card out there atm but a little steep. You can find it on sale online with free shipping for between 400- 450 if you look around.
Check pricegrabber. I still don't have a need for a htpc I prefer standalones and htpc gaming is cool but a 30 inch monitor can go above 1080p. I still drag the pc in the living room from time to time though -
I love the surround sound cranked up.
Much better than my pc 5.1 setup although that is very loud and clear too.

Nvidia GTX 280 ddr3 1gb $500 and up
Nvidia 9800 series cards
ATI HD4870 Series cards

All of these cards will handle Crysis and BD.

Current Nvidia chipsets = Really Hot (and I mean temps)

I don't know about you but I really don't like having that warm air feeling around my shins.

So buy an ATI this generation, my 2 cents.

If the OP plans on connecting this to a receiver - he/she had better get an Nvidia, because if you connect an ATI to a Yammy, Pioneer, or Denon - it doesn't work with out another add-on. The Nvidia's just work and I have had no problems with heat in my system

ATI works fine with Denon. Running 2 4850s in crossfire, hdmi to the receiver with no problems whatsoever.

Go with ATI they have the best cards right now. Nothing wrong with Nvidia ATI usually just beats them. And Sapphire makes the best ATI cards.

Maybe ATI has fixed the problem with a new driver or it only happens in certain Denon receivers ? I saw this over at the AVS forum and sure enough - it was true (especially for the Yamahas). I almost bought the ATI - but from my sig you can see that I have a Yamaha as a prepro. That's why I went with the 9300/9400 motherboard when they came out (added my old card with it and used Video Boost). Don't get me wrong - I'm impressed with the ATI cards - extremely...but I have had fewer problems intergrating Nvidia cards into my HT setup. If the OP has an Onkyo dollar for dollar I would go with an ATI 48xx but if I had a Yamaha or another receiver - I would first check the AVS forums - and then if my receiver was one of the problems, I would go with a Nvidia card.

I don't know the budget you planned for it.
But, if you want latest ones, I recommand:
nVidia EVGA Geforce 295.
That one DOES HAVE ACTUAL HDMI connector.
