they certainly do..... he didn't answer the OP's question, at least not at the three various "levels" as the OP defined.....

I don't think Samsung has a higher end offering... at least not that I've seen.

I really didn't know that. They aren't very big with projectors then. Therefore, how could they possibly make the best? Here is all they offer right now.

Panasonic and sony i think are the better choice over samsung

Barco would be very nice if you have $50000 laying around.

Doesn't NEC have a system that's as good as a Christie?

I have an epson 6500 with a 110" carada screen and I love it. The picture quality is so awesome when the the unit is calibrated. Very colorful and deep blacks add depth to the picture. I recommend an epson.

Samsung's projectors in the past were pretty much disasters. Their most recent projector (SP-A800) was designed in conjunction with Joe Kane, and is much improved. It is thought to be one of the most color and grayscale accurate front projectors out there, although its performance in other categories lags compared to others, particularly given its price (MSRP ~10k). Here is a review: http://www.projectorcentral.com/sams...tor_review.htm

It is considered a very good midrange projector with some warts, but all projectors have warts if you look hard enough.

Yeah, I saw that one too. There is still ways around spending $10k for one though... It can't be that worth it. I quite frankly think the styling is ugly.
