Okay, I just ordered some titles... any thoughts? - Blu-ray Forum

okay, in the last 2 nights i've ordered 6 bluray's

POTC 1 & 2, 300, Reservoir Dogs, Black Hawk Down, The Untouchables-----

i know POTC and 300 are great titles. anybody own the others???

'Resevoir Dogs', although relatively grainy, looks a thousand times better than the Anniversary edition on DVD! Colour and definition is amazing for such an aged and small budget independent film. I was blown away!

'Black Hawk Down' I have yet to experience. But, I keep hearing that it is also a kick ass release.

'The Untouchables' is a complete ? for me. I've neither heard anything nor seen it (on Blu-ray anyhow).

Excellent choices. I have never seen Black Hawk Down(waiting on a BlockBuster rental) so I can't comment on that one, but I own all of the rest that you mentioned.

Black Hawk Down is a great release, the audio is amazing. We Were Soldiers is another good one, I thought Young Guns looked better than on SD, T2 is another favorite of mine.

Untouchables looks amazing. Very hard to imagine it's twenty years old. It was weird to see Sean Connery look so young in a film that looked like it could have been shot a year ago.
