Hi, some dude told me that since the sony bdp-s350 is a dlna device with
an ethernet NIC. You could stream movies from a media server similar as
people do with the ps3. Infact he insisted the new upgrade was to support this
specifically. I called his bluff and have been all over the sony pages & it seems he is mistaken. Infact the is nothing to show streaming with this bd-player.
Or has some done it?

Can anyone confirm that this firmware update fixes the skipping on the Baraka BD?

I downloaded the current update for the S350 and I'm going to make a cd and update player but before I do I want to confirm some things.

After downloading file it says to confirm size 51,822,592 bytes which it is.

After extracting file it says 51,785,728 bytes. Is that correct?

Want to make sure before I burn and put disk in player to update.

Yes! 51,785,728 is the size of the ISO that I received by exracting the EXE.
