Hunt for Red October won't work in PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

Hi guys. Picked this up yesterday at the Fry's sale and I just get the swirling circle in the top right and then it won't show up under the video menu. Never had a problem with any other disc in 2 years. Hopefully it's just a bad disc, but anybody else had this happen to them?

I own "Red October" on blu and have a 40GB PS3 and haven't had any problems with it. My guess is that it's just a bad disc which sort of sucks but that's way better than it being a larger issue.

I recently had the issue you're talking about with "Righteous Kill". It didn't show up under the video menu. NetFlix sent me a replacement and I had no problems with the 2nd disc.

My copy works fine on my 60gb PS3. Could be the disk maybe?
