So I take it this is a big upgrade compared to the Scream Factory Blu-Ray? I don't remember anything wrong with that release, but I only watched it once a couple of years ago.

I remember there being plenty wrong with it. As with the Shout edition of Prince of Darkness, I watched it and immediately sold it on.

Okay, I went and looked up discussion on the disc from a few years back-- so I guess the only problem with the Scream transfer was DNR, EE, and boosted contrast and colors. Otherwise it was great!!

I think I didn't really notice when I watched it, because back then I was just rocking a projector on my wall which had pretty poor contrast and was a bit washed-out looking. Probably a good thing I never tried to watch it on my OLED.

Scream does seem to be a bit hit or miss with their releases. Still, they could literally F-up every single release from now on, and I'll always love them for their Army of Darkness Collector's Edition (which did need corrected discs!)

Army of Darkness is great. Their Carrie remaster was great, though I got the Arrow version of it. They do good work here and there, but MAN are they hit or miss.

I received my steelbook I was happy to see it was in a white cardboard box instead of those thin mailer ones so It wasn't damaged shipping here to the US. Now just waiting for The Fog and Prince of Darkness.

Yeah I was surprised by Body Snatchers since it was a 2k IP scan, but it did beat the Arrow in my comparisons. There's probably a few others we're both forgetting too. Overall though, Shout is very spotty with their remasters.
