Yeah there should be a 6 because i read there was a reality show called scream queen or something and the winner got to have a part in saw 6.

Never seen the show but this lead me to believe that there will be a 6 lol.

VI is coming this October, and rumor is VII will be in 3-D.

Quote:
"3-D" is on the lips of the producing team at Twisted Pictures, the house of horror known for churning out the Saw franchise. And if the future continues to look bright for the Jigsaw legacy (Saw V grossed over $100 million worldwide), you might just see a Saw sequel coming at you in the same technology that made My Bloody Valentine 3D leap off the screen.

At last night's sold-out, energetic Los Angeles screening of Repo! The Genetic Opera, another Twisted production, ShockTillYouDrop.com got to speaking with the producers who are seriously mulling over a Saw 3D. Not this year's Saw VI, but the seventh entry in 2010.

Just to make clear, nothing is set in stone, but the 3-D ideas are being kicked around.

There shouldn't be a VI OR VII. There shouldn't have even been a IV. Three was enough...and thats being generous IMO.

As long as they keep making money, they will keep coming.

Great film series. Probably one of the best horror film franchises ever.

I'm all for them not stopping anytime soon. As long as they can keep it fresh.

The best part of the series is the depth of the storyline. I don't think there's another Horror franchise in existance that really has been so focused on expanding the storyline and filling in information.

I can't wait for the planned version of the films in chronological order.

I don't see why there is so much hate towards the Saw movies. If bloody slasher films aren't your thing then don't watch it! Simple as that. The movies are created for a specific group of people - not everyone. Secondly, it's the only slasher film I've ever seen where I agree with the killings. Look at Freddy - he just kills kids in their sleep for no reason. Jason - kills people for no reason. Micheal Myers - kills people for no reason. Jig Saw - puts people in situations to save their life and hopefully learn to respect it while doing so. Nearly everyone in every Saw movie has a chance to save their life. You never know who will make the choice to fight for it or not. All other slasher films you always know who is going to be left alive at the end.

I really liked 5, and am constantly amazed how they keep giving us more detail into this ever-expanding series while still tying in to past movies nicely. I'm looking forward to future offerings without a doubt!

Can't wait to find out who left that note on Hoffman's desk.

And what was in the box that Jigsaw left for his ex-wife.

I don't HATE saw....I just don't agree with how far along they are stringing it. I would have been satisfied if they just made Saw and thats it. I even somewhat enjoyed the second and I'm partial toward the third. But after I saw the fourth one I just never had a desire to see them anymore. But that's just my opinion.

... One of the best horror franchises ever? I'll respectfully disagree to the highest amount possible with that. The series stopped being fresh even before the 2004 original ended its running time and with each sequel it further progressed into its now-routine depth-less, gimmicky and inane abandon. Every series expands its storyline and fills in more information with each new entry, by the by but here it is only further enhancing or ludicrous-ing up what came before it.

Probably one of the worst horror franchises ever would be my personal take.

... Okay, I don't know where to even quite begin with any of the above, so I'll just again respectfully disagree here.

I think Jigsaw's wife is gonna continue his legacy and she is the one who left it on the desk. I think Jigsaw left her his legacy. Think about, he loves her more then anything and why not leave her his legacy? We all know that Strahm didn't write that note or at least it is very unlikely that he did.
