I received a refund out of nowhere today for The Last Movie Book. WTF?

THE LAST MOVIE companion book has been pushed to early 2019, at which point it will be re-listed for sale. Thanks for your patience.

It’s with our sincere apologies to let you know that due circumstances beyond our control the publisher of The Last Movie companion book is pushing back the release date from November 2018 to early Spring 2019. The new release date will be in conjunction with a special edition vinyl release of the film’s original soundtrack.

We’re as disappointed as you are, but please rest assured that in pushing the release date, we’re working with our partners to guarantee the highest quality release possible.

Arbelos rep -- is there any sort of limited nature on the "Last Movie" release? Either a limited number printed or a limited time for the license? I don't want to buy this immediately (the delay is helpful for me) but I don't want to turn around and find out it's sold out and going for a hundred bucks either, so I want to double-check if there are any specific limitations.

We don't have plans to limit the print run at this time.

I got my copy of The Last Movie -- haven't had the chance to watch the whole thing yet, but put the disc in to check out the PQ and it is stunning. Bravo!

Got the bundle today and still can't get over the excitement of this release. Went through the Alex Cox essay. Went to see the restoration of the film last month, but will go through the disc on Thanksgiving.

Everything came safe and sound.

Thank you Arbelos for the release of the year, for releasing my most wanted film on home video after losing hope on ever seeing it on a legit disc, and for doing your part in keeping Hopper's legend alive!

Such an ominous name for such a great day! The vast majority of my blu-ray purchases happen in the few weeks between Turkey Day and Christmas. I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

I hope some of our titles can end up in your collection this Black Friday as well.

Great news! I've been putting off the Varda set for too long now, and I'm happy to get The Last Movie directly from y'all.

The shop already says "All Blu-Rays, DVDs & Posters 50% off" at the top, but isn't ringing up with the discount... When do the sale prices actually kick in?

Just a heads up to anyone here who has not already seen the incredible documentary about the making of The Last Movie. The American Dreamer by Lawrence Schiller and L.M Kit Carson.
