Killzone 2

and a toss up between SF4 and RE4. really depends if you'd want a fighter or another shooter after your done with KZ2. personally i'm getting those 3. Fear is a good game but it never caught my attention. thats my advice...

Well its a no brainer that you have to get Killzone 2 so FEAR is out of the question. I'm not sure about Resi 5. Controls just aren't up to scratch. If you like fighters then I guess the only option is Street Fighter IV.

Killzone 2 - No Questions Asked

However, its a toss up between Street Fighter 4 and RE5. They will both be good in the genre they are, so just pick which style of gameplay you like more and go with that.

Poor FEAR, it's getting dissed all over the place.

The only one out of those that gets my interest is SFIV. I can't wait to tell my wife that I spent eighty forbidden dollars on a game to my wife.

the real question is, what games do you like the best?

if you are a die hard shooter, then id say Killzone 2 and RE5. Fear 2 is a FPS while RE5 is a TPS, but I'm guessing that RE5 will have more value with Co-op and the credibility of its earlier games.

if you like fighters then SF4 has to be on your list. it will probably be the best fighting game on the PS3.

if you really aren't sure what you like, or you like all things, then just make sure you get Killzone 2. it will probably be one of the best games for the ps3 we'll see. its a must have.

Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, and if you still want a fighter get SSFTTHDR (Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix) from the PSN.

I have all 4 pre-ordered. They are all great so its hard to pick 2, i would go with KZ2, and RE5 if i had to only get 2.

I'm getting RE5 and I know this second one isn't on your list, but I gotta support the companies giving PS3 the extras - I'll also be getting Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3

Is FEAR 2 receiving unfair bashing though? I bought the PS3 version of FEAR and it was absolutely terrible but people are saying it was a lazy port not the game itself. I played the FEAR 2 demo and the controls and graphics seem to be much better so why the negativity? Are folks still pissed about getting screwed on the first one?

What didn't you folks like about FEAR 2. Sure it's no Killzone 2 but it looks like a good time.

Of the two shooters (F.E.A.R. 2 and Killzone 2), I'd have to say it is looking as if Killzone 2 would be the better pickup on that front. As for the other two, that's a toss up. If you like fighting games (which I don't), it appears that Street Fighter 4 is looking like a good game. I, on the other hand, am probably going to pick up Resident Evil 5 because it's a good series, and I enjoyed the last one a lot.

Just get Killzone 2.

You won't have time for the others.

I'm not really a fan of any other games in that list except KZ2. My vote is to save your money on the second one. KZ2 will take up all your time anyways
