Default Bette Davis...PLEASE????

Have not seen any thread about this wonderful woman - but since she did so many films with Warners, I thought I would post, hoping that Warner Brothers would see this and starting putting her great films out on BD. (She did work for other studios also)

Any other members who would welcome her films? Which ones?

For me it would be: Baby Jane, All About Eve, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, Now Voyager, and one of her least personal favorites Beyond The Forest.

Baby Jane in High Def - would be, well, gruesome!

I would not mind having a nice clean release of A Pocketfull Of Miracles, the DVD was horrible

Is that to say you don't like her? Or just afraid of her?

Weird that you say this because I've had this song stuck in my head all day, ever since reading an article about how WB supposedly hired a bunch of "average", "everyday" looking people (like Bette and Bogart) as opposed to MGM who went for the "star" / "larger-than-life" look, like Gable and Garbo.

I think whoever wrote the article should put down the drugs, but aside from that I wouldn't mind seeing some of Davis' movies on BD (like All About Eve, and Now, Voyager) but I'd prefer some Jimmy Stewart movies first.

Not my favorite actress but I wouldn't mind "Now Voyager', 'Elizabeth and Essex' (w/Errol Flynn) and 'A Pocketful of Miracles' (w/Glenn Ford).

I'd prefer Joan Crawford.

And no, I'm NOT gay!
