Default Miles Davis Kind of Blue SACD

Hey, does anyone here know if Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" SACD is a hybrid SACD, or contains only the SACD? I would like to have both, but would probably rather have the SACD than the dual-disc.

Question. Why would you not want a dual layer combo if the sound quality is unaffected?

I own the disc, but I think it is a single layer SACD only. The recording is pretty old and their is a fair amount of tape hiss. Still a great SACD to have.

I can confirm, it's a single layer. But I also wonder, why would you not want the dual layer? I would have loved to rip this to MP3, for instance.

There was a hybrid SACD available---see here---but it is apparently out of print and Amazon.com sold their last copies last fall while I was trying to decide whether or not to make it my first SACD purchase.

Is the other side of the dual-disc dolby digital or lossless audio?

Thanks for the input.

There is no other side. Hybrid SACDs have a regular music CD layer along with the SACD layer on the same side. If you don't have an SACD player, your player simply reads the CD layer. It's a brilliant design, really.

Not being a smart-ass here, but I know that. I was referring to the dual-disc version. It's a flip-disc which has a CD on one side and a DVD on the other.
