Got Doctor Strange earlier than release date... - Blu-ray Forum

I thought Doctor Strange was supposed to come out on 8-14-07, but I went to Best Buy today (8-10-07) and there it was, for $19.99 so I picked it up. Gonna watch this tonight.

Personally, I liked The Avengers. I will let you know about Doctor Strange after I watch it tonight. The preview looked sick though.

My opinion (short):
Will give better run for a sequel. He only gets the cloak and the eye at the end, rest is just prepping him for the role / training.

Only saw it on DVD, the quality will look good on Blu-Ray.

Does anyone know if the "Marvel Cinematics" are also on the Blu-Ray version? I will certainly check, but the DVD had them, I just want them on a Blu-Ray.

Well I watched Doctor Strange and I really liked it a lot. Keep in mind that I've never read the comic or anything so I might have different expectations than a fan.

I'll give a review later today once I pick it up. I'll post here, and likely under the rating section of the Blu-Ray.

I want Invincible Iron Man on Blu-Ray also (Not to mention the 2008 Iron Man movie). I think they're holding onto that one since the Iron Man movie is coming out. They will likely release that on Blu-Ray in 2008, along with the animated TV series of Iron Man (can hope for Blu-Ray, but likely DVD). Season 2 of the Iron Man Animated Series was great. The first season blew.

I think we'll see it with all the other merchandising and pimpin' of Iron Man in 2008.

Every Blu-ray movie sold helps the numbers, will it be a big help? I don't believe so.

Dr. Strange is a hero and one of the most powerful, not a villian. Not my favorite character in the least, but I will check it out.

It would appear that they spent way too much time on the audio and not nearly enough on the video for this one... It received a 2 star PQ, which is even worse than Avengers... Even with the low price I will have to just rent this one...

This 2 stars for PQ only is done in Highdefdigest ,i would like you to read this review and tell me who is right!

Dragged my feet on buying this so long because of being on Netflix. That dark border looks sick though. Great touch.

Definitely my favourite of all Marvel animated films. If you want an idea of the amazing potential behind this character, I highly recommend this.
