Rec'd my Pioneer Ellite bd-09fd. Haven't had much time to put it through the paces. I did play a few scenes from the Hulk blu-ray to listen to the coaxial digital output. My 2 channel system consists of modified TacT 2.2x preamp/DAC and the Spectron Musician MK3SE analog amp. Had the Best of Soundstage and Seal Soundstage blu-ray on last night in 2ch mode without problems. I then tried the King Kong blu-ray and I had issues with not receiving the Linear PCM track after I hit the play button (the blu-ray setup menu doesn't have a 2ch option like the Hulk disk did). I did make sure the set-up menu on the 09 was set to PCM and DD and DTS. I loaded the latest 2.34 firmware but the problem is still there. I just get high freq noise.

If you're only listening to two-channel via coax, set your player to decode all bitstream audio to LPCM, ie disable DD and DTS.
