- The Monkey King 3
- The Thousand Faces of Dunjia
- Ghost in the Shell
- Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back
- Sword Master
- Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
- The Mermaid
- In the Heart of the Sea
- Bunker of the Dead
...

I know this isn't per se an "expanded" aspect ratio (as there is no counterpart with a non-expanded ratio available) but still it would be great to have an overview of these kinds of titles as well, as I always love 3D in 1.78:1 or 1.85:1. Maybe we could call the category something like "3D with an aspect ratio smaller than 2.39:1"...
The Blu-ray.com app lets you sort by aspect ratio. I have a pretty good size collection and it's a short list for 1.78 and shorter still for 1.85, keeping in mind I don't collect very many documentaries or cartoons. I wish they were all in 1.78:1 and would happily give up the frame breaking effects to have it.

T.S Spivet - at 1:16:09 for a few seconds, the heads of the drawings of the smiling people break the frame at the top.

What a great discovery! Thank you cinerama very much!

I just checked the scene you mentioned (I've seen this beautiful movie only once before) and also glimpsed a little bit more of it. I managed to find another fine "frame breaking" at 0:04:00!

I'm 99% sure there might be more!

Warner Bros

God I hope the Fantastic Beasts sequel gets a 3D Blu-ray representing the IMAX 3D experience. I’ve written to Warner Bros begging for it, as it’s the most creative and persistent use of IMAX 3D frame-breaks I’ve ever seen (see my review of the frame-breaks), it’d be such a shame to throw it all away (particularly because the visuals are/will be the redeeming feature of a film that has otherwise disappointed people).

I have some changes:

New:
- Aquaman (2018) - IMAX version with aspect ratio changes from 2.39:1 to 1.90:1
- Mortal Engines (2018) - IMAX version with aspect ratio changes from 2.39:1 to 1.90:1

Delete:
The Lion King (2019) - no aspect Ratio changes. The entire movie is in 1.90:1

Sorry but where do you see this? I can’t find anything about aspect ratio changes.

And it didn't......Personally I thought the movie was way to dark at home. I know others said it was fine but to me and everyone else I had over it appeared super dark. And it's not the projector as I just watched other 3D movies and they were bright and colourful.

If you want to list or discuss 3D movies that fill the screen and aren't letterboxed, we already have a thread for that: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=192188

Wow that really sucks. That might push me towards the 4K version of this movie, if I get it.
