I work at BJ's Wholesale Club and the listing on our item database says 3/31/09. I have no photographic evidence to back it up, but that's what it said, take from that what you will.

Seems likely. About 4 months or so after theatrical and one month after the Oscars. So they're going to want to capitalize on that.

That thread also said Australia was coming February 24 and that proved to be wrong. End of March seems more likely as earlier stated.

Amazon has SLUMDOG for pre-order at a price of $27.99.

No release date mentioned on their site, but I've heard 3/31 as well.

I don't know what to say, but Battle of Seattle is not meant to be released till March and already Blockbuster has them out to rent, I guess Blockbuster is doing a special agreement to movie studio companies to release before any other retail begins selling or renting. I don't know, but all I know is that March 31st is the set release date for Slumdog.

I really wonder how the subtitles will look for the DVD/Bluray release, since they are literally all over the screen and are part of the film's unique imagery.
