I have no issue with Jarmusch making a film that brings in many of his go to actors and creating what looks to be a fun film. I bet the cast and crew had a blast in making this. I wonder if Depp will have a cameo. Better yet Tilda was trained with the sword by Ghost Dog who makes a brief appearance.

Don't want to derail the thread, but directors making films for Netflix is hardly "selling out."

At least a few of the names you mentioned only worked with Netflix because literally no one else would finance their films.

Even if the zombie genre has grown a bit tiresome.

Looks pretty terrible, uninspiring and ugly, especially for being Jarmusch and actually not an April Fool's Day joke. I like some of his stuff, so I'll give it a chance later on, but the expectations are very low now. I'd be surprised if he can turn this into anything good.

She doesn't have a natural Scottish accent. She's putting that on for the part. She was born in London to a prosperous family and speaks accordingly.

My illusions have been shattered once again; will have to seek solace watching Swinton as she Kill Bill's her way through this film with a samurai sword...and a bogus Scottish accent.
