BDPBX1 firmware the same as the 350? - Blu-ray Forum

I was planning on upgrading the firmware in my new BDPBX1, but it is not listed. Do I just use the firmware for the 350?

Yep, it is the same exact BD player as the S350. Only difference is the BDP-BX1 is Costco/Sam's Club brand and comes with HDMI cable and has a lit-remote. The BDP-BX1, S350 and S550 ALL use the same firmware.

You can download the firmware from Sony's site at the following address:

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu...=4332&os_id=28

The latest firmware version is .015.

anyone has any pics of the backlit remote? i'm curious about this player since it's pretty cheap right now online
