Yes... I'm just waiting for that. If the do a proper transfer, the Ridley Scott moivie will be the pick of the bunch visually. I'm biased, it's my favourite!!!

I'd rather have grain than DNR and EE, it just looks fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't understand why grain is hated som much, it's just a natural "byproduct" of film, FILMISGOOD!!!!!!!

hmmmmmmm, ooooookkkkkkkk, but you do realize that with film grain is literally like the glass of the window. comes in many textures and opacity levels. Same thing, unfortunately for you not ever director uses the exact same style of "glass"

As long as this is the special edition versions of Aliens and Alien 3 then I am in.

I think Alien 3 is way underated as most people haven't seen this version of the film. It really is a new film with Fincher's vision in place.

I am glad they left part 4 out... it was garbage.

We'll you should see Speed Racer then (if you haven't seen it).
That is like looking out a window, but looks very unnatural but still beautiful.
Do you prefer to have DNR and EE processed movies, wiping detail, adding halos on edges and defeating the purpose of blu-ray?
Or film as it really is? DNR actually WIPES detail, which sucks in my book.

+1. Alien 3 is one that really grew on me threw the years and is directed one of my favorite directors...David Fincher. Too bad they didn't get his official director's cut.
