Now this is a campy movie I can't wait to own in 3D. I have this in standard def but will gladly upgrade to 3D. Thanks KINO!!!

Now someone needs to do DYNASTY. There's a 3D print / set of 3D reels up here in Toronto somewhere as the guy screens it every now and again

KINO is doing great. Outside of the Marvel titles I'm not sure there's a company producing 3D titles in 2019 that I want more than KINO;

Long Days Journey into Night
Parasite
13 Nuns

This is awesome!!!

This is the most excited I've been about a 3D movie in a looooooong time!! This baby is the bomb. I can hardly wait to see the flying guillotines in all their 3D blu-ray glory!!!

And parasite to boot. People who say 3D is dead are full of shit.

And given the 3D Film Archive's track record, one can only assume that our home 3D viewing of this movie will be vastly superior to the experience that many (if not most) of the filmgoers had when this was released in theaters.

I know Bob is not crazy about this fellow, but his review of the movie goes like this from his book,

...See it by all means, It had tons of gruesome and tasteless violence......

amazing and often ridiculous action scenes.

It made every effort possible to punch your eyes out with everything that could possibly be tossed off the screen into your face.

...it was so jam-packed with stereopscopic effect and had such energy that it must be seen...

...you will certainly remember it was in 3-D for the rest of your life.

From R.M. Hayes.

This will be like nothing the patrons of the original movie every probably saw.

I know literally nothing about this movie, but I am totally blind buying it. Even if I hadn't already decided to blind buy every single 3D Blu-ray that the 3D Film Archive puts out on principle alone (and have yet to be disappointed by a single one of them), how could any sane person pass up watching a 70s kung-fu cheese-fest in 3D?!?

Are these restorations sold through the usual outlets, or does one have to buy them direct, or... ?

Revenge of the Shogun Women 3-D is a lot of fun. The martial arts action is exciting.
I like the vivid color they practiced in Japan and Hong Kong in the 1970s. More to the
point the film is Extremely Deep. Not just deep. Extremely Deep. And the pop-outs are
so far out of the screen they sit in the chair next to you. So it's extremely deep with
audience space business. The story might even make sense, I don't know.

This announcement was unexpected and most welcome.

Now all we need to know is a release date?

Silly question maybe but what language is this in? If it's subtitled, I trust the subtitles will not interfere with the action, regarding 3D planes? I've seen a few foreign 3D films where the subtitles are flat on the screen and they clash big-time with the 3D by cutting through the objects that are in front of the screen, totally ruining the effect.
