I've been with Netflix for 3 months now and really the only thing that is keeping me sold with them is the capability to stream movies from my 360. Without that, i'd easily switch to Blockbuster.

Edit: Did you post this same thread in like, 5 different areas? The front page of blu-ray.com is full of "Blockbuster vs. Netflix Poll"

I used them both, netflix is better over all, much faster service delivery, usually no more than 1 business shipping, they send out movie same day they receive. Blockbuster never send out rightaway, usually 2-3 business day. Blockbuster do not had preview of show or movie, but netflix now blu-ray cost more. By the blockbuster is really struggle, closed to bankrupt.

Switch back and forth, just rejoined Blockbuster this week and won't be renewing after my month's up. Every Blu-ray I added was long wait, and my store didn't have Quarantine, High School Musical 3, or the Rocker on Blu-ray so I'm going to drop it and go with neither one for a while.

Netflix. They've not let me down yet and I've been with them for over a year.

After over a year with Netflix, Blockbuster sucked me in with their in-store exchanges, and I can't wait to switch back to Netflix!

I've been using Blockbuster for years although I mostly buy now instead of renting.

I think I have been with netflix for over 3 years. Maybe even longer, seems like it anyway. They have always done a great job for me. Blockbusters in store charge your credit card if it's late deal is to confusing for me.

I'm currently subscribed to both of them. Netflix I only have at the minimum to get streaming. I only signed up because they added Netflix streaming to my HD TiVo (I love that thing!) and I wanted to give it a try. It's not Blu-Ray quality, but neither is the content I'm watching so it's okay. I caught the season finale of Dr. Who on BBC America a week or so ago and wanted to go back and watch some episodes. It was great to just log in to Netflix and them to my "Watch Instantly" queue and then turn right around to my TiVo and watch away. Not all the episodes are there, but enough are that I won't need to order a DVD of them for a while.

I haven't really had an issue with either of them. I got the wrong movie from Blockbuster a little while ago; I got the DVD of Sleepaway Camp instead of Sleepaway Camp 2. Which actually worked out for the better. I really wanted to see the first one again before watching the second and the first always said "Really Long Wait." And if I had known how awful 2 was, I would have been thankful to have gotten the wrong movie. Of course 1 wasn't as much fun as I remembered it to be.

I'm probably going to drop Blockbuster and stick with Netflix because of the streaming. I never used the in-store exchange because there wasn't a store with Blu-Rays that was convenient to me.

Blockbuster >1 year. They're awesome. I live about a mile from one. I have two out at a time, can excahnge in store (+2) and they send me 2 more immediately. Total I can have 4+ out while paying for two...$12.99 or something like that. Plus I get an additional movie/GAME each month for free. Netflix can't come close to that...

My blockbuster is now walking distance since we moved........ and that's a big reason we switched too...... but their shipping is so freakin' slow!

We have 2 at a time, with 3 in-store exchanges...... what is this "Free" one you speak of?

Love my Blockbuster Online deal ... 3 out at a time and 5 in-store exchanges a month. My Blockbuster Blu-ray selection is awesome! Shipping speed is ok.

I have that same problem and I guess Netflix doesn't? I really like the in-store rentals but I'm not sure if that is enough to keep me as a customer.

I've been a member for a while. I think this is a grandfathered option and you can't get it any more. But for me, it's pretty sweet!

BLOCKBUSTER Total Access Premium $16.99 / month (plus taxes)
2 at-a-time, Unlimited mailings
Unlimited in-store movie exchanges
+1 FREE bonus Movie or Game Rental E-Coupon / Month

*Wow, looks like this is $29.99 a month now. Looks like I'll never switch to Netflix.

Netflix. Been with them for over 2 years and never had a problem. They've always been good to me so don't see the need to change.

Same here. Had them for 2 years and never had any major problems. Only have 2 damage discs so far, reported it and a replacement was sent the next day. More than likely the damage discs was caused by the post office and not netflix. Plan on being a long term membership with Netflix.
