I've seen the DVD 2006 Suzie Templeton animation. Would love to see it on Blu-ray. I thought the DVD was visually stunning. I've emailed Break-Thru films about a Blu-ray release. It's available at Amazon.de , but alas, it's region B

when I saw this theatrically on Landmark's E Street Sony 4K Digital Projector the picture was incredible (to say the least) - it was so crystal clear and ultra sharp it looked like viewing the story through a window.

It would look wonderful on blu, I agree with you 100%.

Speaking of Peter and The Wolf, ever see that open source film, Bug Buck Bunny? It's available as a download and also available on blu if you're a fan of the film.

I recorded this from PBS. Alas, I watched it in HD but could only record in SD.

5 years to make this short stop-motion animation. It only contains minimal cgi to mask things like wires and add things like the balloon. Still astounding work.

there's a rough cut of the film as a bonus on the standard dvd (with commentary too) - it's fascinating to watch as most of the animation is unfinished - so the flying scenes for instance have the rods and strings

Thanks to "FindYourWay" for the link to Big Buck Bunny. I've now seen it and Elephant's Dream. They both look gorgeous. I especially enjoyed Elephant's Dream.

Seems that others here are enjoying Peter and The Wolf too. I'm still surprised (disappointed) that there has been no US Blu-ray release.
