I guess you could say its this generations Superbad. as it had a lot of the same beat too and things happening.

[Show spoiler]That scene where they are on drugs and look like Barbie Dolls and take off their clothe in front of a mirror and the one starts touching their selves. made it all more awkward the dolls had the actresses faces too.

Also the two girls going at it and she sticks it in the stink and not the oink. Then takes a drink and throws up on the girl after.

Show it be nice to see this with a crowded theater. But there was only 2 other women at the 12:40pm showing today. And they appeared a few mins late into the movie.

Not too popular is likely the reason, so most theaters don't seem to carry it.

You even said there was only 2 other audience member in attendance

I went in initially liking the trailer, and it did not disappoint - great cast and writing - Olivia Wilde's direction was spot on.

I went to see this a second time tonight and it definitely won me over this time. I think I voted a 3 from the advanced screening but I'd probably bump it up to a 4 this time.

Saw this last night and I can highly recommend it for its target audience. I'm a 58 years old male and I just didnt get it. Not my type of humor. But the younger people in the audience were loving it. Based on their reaction, and all of the rave reviews, its easy to say that if you are of a certain age and it looks like a movie you can relate to, then by all means, go see it.
Get in there with all those other young whipper-snappers.

This was amazing. I'd say it's a damn near perfect comedy. I loved pretty much every second of it, and laughed pretty hard during a great deal of it. The two leads have incredible chemistry, and there's a lot of memorable side characters as well. The movie is also supported by a pretty great soundtrack, that was used very nicely to enhance several scenes.

I won't give anything away, but there's some really cool things they do in this movie that really separates it from your average comedy. The swimming pool scene in particular is my favorite. It's beautifully filmed, and it runs the gamut of emotions.

I wouldn't say this movie reinvents anything in the comedy world, but Olivia's Wilde's debut film certainly breathes some fresh air into it. It's a hilarious movie, but also one with some genuinely-earned emotional moments. I didn't know what to expect with this. The trailer looked amusing, but didn't quite hook me. Now having seen it, I'd consider it an instant-classic, and the most fun I've had in a theater in a long time.

I saw this early this morning & I really enjoyed it! Had me chuckling throughout the whole film. The "doll" scene was hilarious! I give it a 4.25/5 & voted a 4 for the poll though I feel that it may be a little too low for this gem. Recommended for some good laughs!
