Loved it! Saw it twice in theaters. Will be buying on blu for sure. I cant even image how awesome the PQ will be.

This was a very good movie, but I do not think it deserved to win 8 Oscars IMO. I will be getting this on day one for sure though.

Tempted to blind buy it but there are a lot of movies I've actually seen so I doubt this will be a priority anytime soon. It may actually drop in price by the time I get it.

I will as well. Good to hear it's your favorite. I missed it at the theaters (Toronto Film Festival is were it debuted)! Definitely looking forward to watching this film.

I never recommend blind buys but there are always exceptions! Yep, it is that good!

great movie but I won't be buying this. There's no personal replay value for me. The type of movie where it's not as fun the 2nd time around when you already know what's going to happen.

Couldn't disagree more. The Usual Suspects would be the biggest victim of this theory and I watch it every time it is on. Must have seen it 20 times.

How could you compare the Usual Suspects and Slumdog Millionaire? Completely different movies...

Slumdog was good. It was a feel-good movie but completely predictable and probably one of the most over-hyped movies in a long time.

Besides watching it again with some friends who have never seen it, where's the replay value it in? You know what's going to happen and there were plenty of flaws in it. Again, just my opinion...not trying to start a war here.

But that's an entirely different conversation.

I highly disagree with over-hyped. It's more underrated then over-hyped.

When I watched the movie, the message I grabbed was the fact of what goes on in the slums of India, and how corrupt it is.

As for replay value, I understand that part. It's not something I could watch over and over again. One time was enough to make me aware of what goes on.

I doubt I'd be going out on a limb saying folks will pick up on some things watching it again. Some movies are still enjoyable regardless of the fact we know what is going to happen and that is why we buy them and watch from time to time.

I agree, it is more underrated than over hyped by a wide margin.

I also agree. VERY underrated and underhyped movie. Most people haven't even heard of this movie until it started winning awards and then the Oscars! Plus there are no big stars in it.

I don't know how someone could ever say it's overhyped.

And for those of you who say "it was OK" or
it was good but not great" I suggest that you recognize that you are in the minority on your thoughts. MOST people think it's an excellent movie and deserved Best Picture.

Great movie but I thought there were a few better films that the Academy snubbed (Gran Torino, The Wrestler).

Anyways, I will buy this one for sure and am definitely looking forward to watching it again

Singing and dancing.. not for me... and i'm still frustrated it won so many at the oscars, that's another reason i don't wanna see it... Oh and Milk... Sean F'N Penn...... OMG...............
