Just got back from a advanced screening of it, and I have to say that its the best movie I have seen all year as of now. Everything in this film was near flawless, the story was fresh and fun...the camera work / visuals were amazing, acting perfect and one of the best soundtracks I have heard in a while. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Danny Boyle can do anything - horror/drama/family movie/sci-fi... SLUMDOG is a great flick and shows off his ever expanding cinematic range. Perhaps the most versatile director working today.

And SLUMDOG will be awesome on blu-ray too. But best film of the year (as some are calling it)... I dunno... yet.

Yeah there are still a few films coming out this year that could take take best of the year from it for me, but mainly Milk. Other than that I think Slumdog has a wrap on best film of the year for me.
