Anyone know the specs on Dances With Wolves & if it's region free?

Also if it can be played without forced french subtitles & in english with the indian subtitles showing when appropriate only?

I have read 2 places it is not forced French subs. Did you get it? Its 11 Euros. I love Open Range too. WTF is going on with no US release on these titles. Anyway, allegedly the Fr and Ger Dances are the 4 hour longer cut. The UK is the theatrical.

That is correct. The Germans also have an anniversary edition which has both the theatrical and the extended cut.

I almost pulled the trigger for the French version until I read on another site someone who bought it along with the French Open Range and the color was way off as well as the audio had a high pitch. The German version is supposed to be excellent, but its not region free and I don't have a region free player.
