have a look. I'm replacing the onkyo HTiB L and R with Polk Monitor 50's tomorrow, so i should see a noticeable improvement hopefully in sound.
UPDATE: Moved into a new place with new furniture. Give it a look https://www.blu-ray.com/community/ga...ember=hpman247 Last edited by hpman247; 10-10-2009 at 05:38 AM. |

nice equipment, but i dont know where to start after that. you need to do some serious wire management. Your TV stand is to small and it looks like there used to be a shelf for it, IMO you should put it back on if you have it. Cause your receiver is going to hate you with that cable box over it. I looks like you tried to leave some breathing room but thats not going to be enough. good start, just need to move stuff around a little

For my bedroom I think that it is great. As far as it's accuracy of color on some movies, I don't feel that it is the greatest. My Samsung DLP is in a different league. But I also feel that it is a good tv. I do not regret buying it in any way.

Question guys
I just got my M50's in. Hooked up. It sounds much better than it did. But I want to delegate the duties of the old L and R speakers to the surrounds. Right now i have a 7.1 Setup, but I was thinking. If I remove the rear speakers now closest to the front, and then replace the old fronts on the green wall at the back, would that be ok acoustically. I just figured I'd ask before I did it. Any opinions on this. |
