Ah yes Cromartie the high school delinguent anime where everyone in Cromartie High is a bunch of delinguent punks plus the robot Mechazawa and the giant gorilla that goes to school there

Well I've been trying some things with not much success. Nothing ventured, nothing gained I suppose but there is so many BDs coming out each month that interest me that I'll leave this genre alone for the time being.

I like to know about Robotech - Protoculture Collection before I leave this genre alone for awhile. What do you thing of this set as it is reasonably priced? I do like Appleseed and Vexille if that helps at all.

Default Patlabor On Blu-ray Please?

Initial D fan here! I have Stage 1, 2 and 3 w/ Bonus Stage Boxset.

My younger brother is a fan of Patlabor The Movie 1 + TV Series. We're waiting for both to be released on Blu-ray. Yay!

Weirdest trailer ever. It's something about a fish that wants to be a boy.

My fav is still Totoro, then Mononoke.

Outlaw Star is my favorite.

Then the original Dragon Ball. I can never get enough of that.

So yea, I dig anime too. I'm not so much a die-hard fan though. It's as occasional as any genre for me.

In terms of movies...

1. Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
2. Spirited Away
3. Princess Mononoke

I used to watch quite a bit of anime, especially as a kid (Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, Hokuto no Ken, Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, UFO robo Grendizer, etc).

As an adolescent, I still kept watching certain series, but less than when I was a kid. Still could watch quite a few series, though.

Now, I'm 33, still watching anime but unfortunately not as much as I used to mainly due to lack of time. I try to keep up with Bleach and sporadically watch shorter series, like Death Note or Hokuto no Ken - Raoh Gaiden. I also watch OAV's or anime movies when I have the chance and I hope to buy more anime on blu (have so far: Paprika, Tekkon Kinkreet, Samurai 7 box).

I also watch Japanese drama series and live action series, such as Kamen Rider, Keitai Sousakan 7, etc.

Big anime fan though lately haven't spent as much time watching as I used to. Personally own over 100 complete series quite a few ongoing series and 30+ anime movies. Hard to pick favorites as after seeing so much, there is always something newer and better so to speak. My long time favorites though would have to include Monster, One Piece (non-american version which the ruined), Gun Grave...
