I thought the movie was OK. Nothing breathtaking. A bit too much 'man' action and I didn't really seem to like the characters enough to feel any emotion for them.

There was a bit more than that, but Gus Van Sant kept it to a minimum in my opinion. It's a great film, but some may not appreciate it due to its subject matter.

First day purchase for me.

Keep in mind that Gus Van Sant is a gay film-maker, almost everything he does has gay innuendos or gay involvements. Although it is clear he is an amazing film maker.

Romulus, I didn't see your post before. Sorry. And mine I got from dvdactive is high resolution. And it shows the spine. I love DVD and Blu Ray cover arts when they are done well. And when they don't have anything protruding the cover like we Aussies have to put up with the stupid annoying classification codes.

Anyway, sorry about making a double post.
