At least twice a day in multiplayer I have to reset my system.

It is getting worse as time goes on it seems, or maybe it is just more frustrating as time garbles along...

I hope this is in the works for the next patch, because it makes it a real PITA when you play a match for 30 minutes and it freezes right before it ends

Edit to say that it must be hard to figure out, because I dont remember it happening much in the beta I was in... So good luck to GG

Freezes.. hmm never experienced that myself not even once.

Im sorry your having your time with killzone 2 robbed for you, I hope the best for you.

All I am doing, to be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR, is crying about wasting my time, and having no record to prove how much time I have wasted!

good thing no on can see my TV watching and sitting on my arse trophies.

I would be platinum!

I was trying to find a way to be positive and not sound like a butt.. but I failed me thinks..

I had the same feeling when NFS came out. Then I get to work the next day and said to some other people that have the game that it freezes all the time, only to find out that I was the only one having the problem. It turns out that my original 60gig was in the process of sh**ing the bed and I purchased a new 80gig, problem solved. Too much dust in the old 60gig so I have to send it in to Sony for a repair.

It is the individual servers.

Everyone freezes at the same time.

How do I know?

1. My clan all has the same problems
2. when it happens everyone with a mic says "what the F. Are you serious" before they cut out.

It lasts a good 10 seconds before the mics get cut off. So we talk about it.

in other words, not my system (I obviously first thought it was

)

Gotcha. I have played from the first day until now, and have had it freeze at LEAST 20 times. 3 today.

Again, people complaining on the Mics make it clear it is the game, not the individual PS3s

It happened to me for the first time last night with about 30 some kills racked up. I was kinda pissed, but oh well. Just more reason to keep playing and make up for lost stats!!!

I am missing 4 ribbons. 1 for cloaked kills and 3 for 10 sniper kills.

Other than that I am playing for fun. When it freezes I am not having fun.

3 times in one day is a darn killjoy...

reading online it seems to be happening only in higher ranked games. I hope this is what they meant by saboteur caused freezing. That way it will be a short while before they fix it.

Oh well... when it works it is the best game there is.

Some nights I've had no problems. But two nights ago it froze several times and disconnected from the server a lot too. It was very frustrating. Love the game though. Getting medals and ribbons is very addictive.

Could be your disc. Return it to the store and tell them it's faulty or contact SCEA.

I would be more willing to believe that if someone explained how my disc was freezing the entire game, not just my game. If my disc was faulty, how would that cause the server to go down?

I'm pretty certain (GG) have stated that there is a freeze issue with cloaked kills and they are looking into it! Are all the people affected at the same level or are the lower level (class) players getting the freezing issue as well?

If I could get on KILLZONE.com I would confirm this, but I can't.

I have been checking out KZ.com.

It seems to all be the higher ranks. A lot of people are talking about it happening during sniping (either reloading, killing, moving etc).

It has happened to me when I was lower ranked in a high ranked game though.
