Getting this on blu was always going to please me, but getting the Criterion treatment. Oh, baby...

That's an Arrow-style tease. Too easy.

More Sydney Lumet is always great news. Still hoping we get Night Falls on Manhattan and Q&A someday.

YES! One of my favorites.... I'm very glad for this release. Now give us By Dawn's Early Light and I'll be stoked.

Charley Varrick, The Thin Man, A Face in the Crowd, House of Games, Addams Family Values and now this?

My wish list has taken a real beating this year

I thought I was the only person on Earth who liked that one!

But to be honest, my double bill for FAIL-SAFE is nearly always THE BEDFORD INCIDENT, and I'd happily pop for a blu- of that one. When I follow up STRANGELOVE, it is usually with WRONG IS RIGHT (not holding my breath for that one on blu, but I agree with a lot of what Joe Dante has to say about that one on trailersfromhell.)

About time. Always a favorite of mine to watch as a double feature to Strangelove. Hopefully, it won't be too long of a wait. I think we only waited a few weeks when the newsletter clue for Temple Drake dropped before Criterion announced it was coming in December. So, can we hope for a January 2020 release?

**** yes. The Collection is in DESPERATE need of more Lumet. I would kill for a really lavishly produced Murder on the Orient Express from them.

I remember seeing this for the first time when I was just 13 or 14 and the ending...wow. Messed me up. Such a great thriller. Can't wait to get this in the collection. Might be one of the rare Criterions I buy outside of any sale.

If we’re talking Lumet my holy grail release, which will probably never happen, Prince of The City, and the TV version!

But either way, I want ALL Lumet on Blu!

It's crazy that "Find Me Guilty" has gotten 2 different blu releases while "Prince of the City" and "The Hill" have yet to have their first.

Amen to that! Prince of the City should be released ASAP. It’s a superb film. Here’s hoping we also get The Hill, The Fugitive Kind, and The Sea Gull from someone soon. And I’d love to see a good disc of A View from the Bridge.

I'm looking forward to this one. Been a long time coming. I'm hoping Criterion can get access to the made for TV version from 2000 as a supplement. That would be amazing.

How about a Lumet/Connery box set with The Hill, The Andersen Tapes, The Offence, Orient Express and Family Business? Would that make everyone happy? Cuz I would be ecstatic.

I had the same thought. Criterion included a made for TV ‘12 Angry Men’ as a supplement for their blu ray (also Lumet, fittingly enough). Hoping they do the same here.
