Thumbs up

I have this on my Amazon cart....I love all things 'Grand Canyon'....also have 'Scenic National Parks: Grand Canyon' on BD, but am expecting a much more impressive PQ presentation on this IMAX feature. I would love a feature film/doc where they'd do a flyover of the rarely-seen entire 277-mile length of canyon....in fact, I still have an old Beta tape somewhere of a 2-hour helicopter tour of just such a thing that was produced in the early 80's....I can't recall the producer, but there was no narration and was simply accompanied with a selection of classical music. BTW, has anyone seen the IMAX feature 'Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets', that plays year-round at the 70 foot-equipped OMNIMAX theater located near the park entrance of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon? I believe it was made in the late 80's or early 90's, but still very impressive on the massive screen....it's available on dvd, although the PQ is quite poor.

Does anyone else find it interesting that this is an Amazon exclusive until 12/7 but Amazon hasn't had it to sell for awhile? It is available through Amazon Marketplace from another source, but not Amazon.

Darn I was hoping some digging up this thread meant we were getting a 4K release of IMAX Grand Canyon Adventure, instead it’s someone posting a Video of living RVlife. Oh well maybe one day
