Remote play? - Blu-ray Forum

Can someone tell me what remote play is for? All I can do on the PSP with remote play is visit the PS Store, which I can already do on there, listen to the music on the PS3 on my PSP, and look at pictures and friends list and enable Folding@Home. Is there something else I can do that would make it useful?

there's a handful of psn titles you can play, but none worth playing on the slow wireless B

but other than music and movies stored on the ps3..not a whole lot

You can also play any and all PS1 games you have, with the disc in the PS3's drive.

I didn't find any more uses for remote play but I did find out that the PS3 and PSP work well together. What I mean by that is when I remember trying to put stuff on my PSP back pre-PS3 times, it was a hassle with video and music. Now, I just transfer it from my PS3, it's great!

Whats really interesting is you can plug the psp to the ps3 using the contoller cable and just copy music that way, and your installed ps 1 games, and downloaded psp demos.

Yeah, yeah, that's what I meant. I just remember trying to do that with a computer on the G1 PSP and it was such a hassle. What would be cool if we could do it Bluetooth style. Maybe on the PSP phone...::crosses fingers::

1. enable remote play
2. make sure PS Eye is plugged in
3. after you're in remote play, go to new chat, then go to camera check. Or you can use the camera through Aquatopia

Viewing through the "Chat" widow provides a better PQ than using through Aquatopia though

Thanks for the info....that's the main reason i bought it so i could communicate with my family...
