Default Woman Caught "Blu" Handed.

I saw this story on my local news and thought it was funny. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=5782403

Sad story, always is when a human being's freedom is taken for the sake of inanimate objects. Anyways she should have known better and Big Brother is always watching ...

Actually, they will help you take the HD DVD's. It's embarrassing to even have those these days.

Making a career out of stealing for any reason isn't the smartest thing in the world. Eventually you will be caught and that's it, it's a lot harder to get a job the rest of your life after having those kind of charges on you.

Nothing inanimate is worth going to jail for, even Blus.

Very sad story. I wonder how she was able to get all the security tags out of the cases when she was successful.

All of the Blu-rays in my local Wal-Mart have them inside glass cases that only the employees can unlock. But anyways as for this story I say good riddance to bad garbage.

same here, they have been that way since they were introduced into Wal-Mart's. One Wal-Mart now has some of the new releases out in the plastic locker cases

agreed, i mean drugs like cigarette's and beer keep going up in price we will see a lot more of this.

blu-ray has a high theft item potential though since it's small and worth alot more second hand then dvd. I expect more stores to be following suit with locked cabinets and stuff

there is a small postive side to it. AT least it was somtihng of good quality and not crap. Meaning she was going after Blu and DVD. Not saying it was a good idea just saying at least she had some taist.

She wasn't getting the tags out. There is a trick these thieves use. They will line their jackets or purses with some sort of thick silver tape similar to duct tape and it will block the anti-theft stands at the front of the store from picking up the tags. I use to work for Office Max and we had a big problem with people stealing CD's, software and even laptops this way.
