That seems like a weirdly long time after their "two night" theatrical showing. At least 3 From Hell had the courtesy to allow us to buy the film around a month after it's super limited theatrical.

Maybe they're making a lot of bonus features.

They had to take advantage of Halloween?

Makes sense. Gives them some more time to show it on their Road Show. Wonder if we'll get a 4K too?

Seeing it next month on the roadshow. I'm sure I'll end up buying the Blu-ray.

The Roadshow tour actually runs through February, so I wonder how accurate that date is. Still, it's great to see it's getting a physical release. I was worried it might be digital-only.

I was disappointed it wasn't playing near me. Huge Kevin Smith fan and I am really rooting for this one. I'm not expecting something close to the quality of Clerks II, just something fun.

Will definitely pick it up. This one is an absolute love letter to his films, his fans, and himself. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I'm gonna be seeing the roadshow this weekend. I'm enough of a Kevin Smith/View Askew fan where it's safe to assume I'll be getting this.

Is there a reason that no theater near me is playing this?

Aww hell yeah. I'm hyped this is getting a physical release. It looks like the distributor is Lionsgate which kinda sucks cause it means it's not gonna have a Movies Anywhere code.

So this isn’t actually getting a theatrical release beyond the fathom events screenings? Very surprising and unfortunate

I heard him say that when he does a roadshow presentation, the film will then show in theaters that week in that area. So he did Chicago and NJ a week ago, and it opened in nearby theaters that Friday. I'm not in those areas, so I can't confirm that, but it gives me a little hope, because the Fathom events screenings were nowhere near me.

It looks like it is playing in the some theaters in the suburbs but nothing in downtown Chicago (at least not this weekend).
