King Lear (w/ Ian McKellen) UK - anyone has it? - Blu-ray Forum

This is a stage-to-screen adaptation of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of King Lear, starring Ian McKellen.

It's got a nice price at amazon UK, but there are no user reviews (only on the DVD version).

Can anyone who's watched it chime in? TIA.

I'm sure you've all been holding your breath for 16 or 11 years respectively but yes, I just got the disc yesterday

In case anyone else has comes here looking for insights: I was a bit disappointed, having "found" a rip of it previously online thinking it wasn't ripped well or something and grabbing it from the disc myself would produce different results but, sadly, having it now in my hands, the colors really are that dull on this release. It's very odd. Picture is absolutely fine otherwise. The extras are just text interviews you navigate through via menus. Also a bit of a bummer. (edit: spoke too soon on the extras, forgot about the half hour video interview with McKellen!)
