Default In Bruges!!... is really expensive.

So I just read the review for the import of In Bruges. I saw the movie in theaters, twice, and I already own the movie on DVD and it's almost definitely my favorite movie of last year... but 40 dollars to upgrade to Blu?

Does anyone know of any way to get it a little cheaper? Or even better, if there are ANY plans to do an official US release?

expensive ---> import

cheaper ----> amazon marketplace or ebay

US release ----> probably at some point? it was a great and highly underrated movie, so hopefully soon!

Just wait for the US version, that's what I am going to do. Amazing movie though, instant classic comedy.

This movie is not available at Amazon.com as an import. The link to purchase on the review here on www.blu-ray.com does NOT work. I'd pay $40.00 for this film because I love it. But you cannot find it anywhere yet on Blu-Ray. That said, blu-ray.com, you need to remove that review and link. It's deceiving.

It's available on Blu-ray in Nordic countries from Scanbox (the version the reviewer used), France, & Australia and I believe all but the Australian version are region free. I imported my copy from Amazon.fr for approximately $37 shipped. It's definitely available on Blu-ray.

It's region free and available. It will just cost about $40 to get it. You also get no special features/extras with it. I believe the reviewer mentioned it.

Shame the aussie version isn't region free. I got mine for A$31 (about U$20) which is pretty cheap for a new release.

This. Exactly where I imported my copy from a couple months back. It's a fantastic film, and the only one I have bothered to import (minus the Alliance titles).

I still don't get why people call this film a comedy. I don't even see it as a noir comedy.

I don't know why people call it a comedy either. I own the DVD and will be the first to admit it is a great film, but I never had a laugh during it. The midget scenes were not funny, and neither was anything else. I guess it was suppose to be a dark comedy, but it doesn't really succeed on that level either. The Weatherman is the best dark comedy I have seen personally. Anways, good film; wasn't funny.

I wouldn't call it a straight comedy personally, although there was definitely a few times I laughed the first couple times I saw it. Even after 3-4 times seeing it, a couple scenes give me a little chuckle. Just different senses of humor I guess.

I thought the movie was hilarious. Farrell's character was so funny....I would give examples, but I don't want to spoil the movie. I laughed hard throughout this movie

It's a black comedy. And there are many scenes where the audience I saw it with laughed.
