amp err -pioneer - Blu-ray Forum

i have a d411 turn it on display says amp err and powers down, i search the net found lots of them including different models, but no fixes. can anyone help?

Perhaps check to see if any speaker wiring is shorted together or loose anywhere. This means checking both behind the receiver and at all the speakers themselves. Most receivers will go into a protection-mode if any speaker wires are shorted together.

stand alone, nothing connected, it still does this

Did you check the manual? It clearly states that the receiver has an internal error and needs to be sent in for service.
