Question Problems with Scarlet 52

I have the following problem with HDMI1, Component 1 and cable inputs

without specific situation I lost video on screen, audio still available, if I turn off and on tv video returns, once this happened to me twice in less than 10 minutes on component 1, wife have since this about 3 o 4 times while watching cable or SD DVD.

I called Sears Mexico with this situation, also I pay for the advance warranty and they replaced the TV for a new one (took 2 wks)

new set is worst lots of banding in screen & lots of white sparks on blu ray home screen, fixed switched to HDMI input 4

when connected blu ray player (panny, hdmi input 1) and try to watch a disc, player got several errors about disc incompatibility I tried with other disc same problem, I turned off real cinema and true motion and disc played well, suddenly TV restarted off/on by itself while disc playing, audio at HT keep heard.

next day while watching sleeping beauty tv restarted off/on 3 times and with special features disc I had a half screen with gray image and then tv restarted once again

I have present again my complains to Sears and LG representative and a solution is being prepared, hope so.

any thoughts and or recommendations?

Since you do get video and audio, this tells me you probably have the right settings. Have you tried switching the HDMI and component cables with new ones? Having audio, but no picture with HDMI really doesn't make much sense to me, unless you have a faulty HDMI cable. The same with the component cables, have you tried new ones for the video? This is a guess on my part, but you might want to start there.

Im very confident on my cables since I had other 2 TVs with no problems at all and I'm not messing around with them, HDMIs are from monoprice.

last night I switched from HMDI 1 to 4 and white sparks and flashes on blu ray home screen gone, audio is via optical from BR player, but in component audio stills and video is out, actually I can switch inputs w/o the image on screen with remote

I got a cellphone video (3gp) with the problem but I dont know if there is a site to upload it w/o registration

I have returned that TV to Sears and got back my original set with the promise of a new change in about 2 or 3 wekks since model is out of stock here in Mexico

I think True Motion on an LG is what Sammy calls Motion Enhancer. Not sure what "Real Cinema" does?
