DVD Talk Review

This is a dark suspense/thriller starring Han Seok-gyu (Shiri) and Lee Eun-joo (Taegeukgi). Perhaps it's best known in Korea as the film that finally pushed Lee Eun-joo to commit suicide from depression. It's not an easy film to watch, particularly the last 30 minutes. PQ in this Taiwan Blu-ray from BitWel is very poor and even worse than my R3 SE DVD from Korea. Picture is an obvious DVD upconvert and to add insult to injury, full of heavy DNR, edge enhancement, and combing artifact. I can recommend the movie, but expect to be disappointed with the presentation on this Blu-ray.

Video: 1080p24 AVC encoded 1.85:1 (DVD resolution at best)
Audio: Korean PCM 5.1 and DD 5.1
Subtitles: Optional traditional and simplified Chinese, English
Extras: Trailer for some other movie
