So I'm currently looking to buy a new tv. Replacing my 50" Samsung DLP. I hear great things about Pioneer in whatever I read. But there has been a lot of good stuff about the G10 coming out soon.
Need some help deciding. Just vote on what you would buy if you had to choose. Decision has been made. Going with the Kuro. Last edited by SleeperAgent; 03-18-2009 at 05:45 PM. |

I would have to go with the Pioneer. Its going to be a classic and when they are gone people are going to really want that television. The Bentley of televisions. Hell, I'm dropping down to a 50 inch elite from a 55 in. I have to get this Pioneer!

Not sure why you even did this poll, because as long as the pioneer elites or kuros are available to be purchased, THEY WILL ALWAYS have reign supreme over Panasonic. Take the example if you were to be able to get a Pioneer 50inch or a Panny 50inch for the same price, it becomes a NO BRAINER for you which one to pick. Its the pricing that is the spoiler which has ppl turning their minds around which set to get. I been culprit to not being able to pull the trigger myself due to the very same reason, even tho, I know in my head which set has the better picture. Sad thing when your mind just cant settle on a tv's performance, and ends up throwing in budget and value into the mix, makes it harder.

Why settle for the 5020 when you can get a great deal on the Elite Kuro....
Go for it |

We will soon find out how these "old" last year Pioneers do against the V10. It should be interesting. I wouldn't get my hopes up though...

My story goes like this: My Pro-151 arrived on July 3 of last year.My wife went to my mother's house while the delivery guy and myself setup the tv.He turned it on to make sure everything was working and we watch a part of a football game.A hour later he left
