I’d pay good money for several Doris Day films on bluray. These aren’t them, but I’m still glad these are getting a release.

Why would this collection go OOP?

Because it's owned by Universal. They're putting huge portions of their library OOP lately.

Just in the last couple of days I noticed The Hindenburg and Phantom Thread (both BD and UHD) were OOP.

I assume Universal is transitioning away from physical media. For the few titles they intend to continue selling, they've been re-releasing them as inferior MOD editions. Just look at Amazon, loads and loads of re-releases recently of old Uni titles as MOD.

That’s blasphemy, but at least their MOD releases are still pressed though.
