I'm going to take a stab at twisted logic? Do you mean you want to raise the speaker wires off the floor, hence making them higher or "hire"?

He wants to hide the speaker wire by the sounds of it ,cable runways/raceways, whatever you want to call them.

The ones i have you can find them at home depot and are paintable.

There is plastic runs of 6ft lengths, where the back has adhesive and the front or top pulls off to place the wire inside, and then it snaps back into place. I've heard it referred to as 'Panduit'. It has elbows for corners etc.

Oops... bad grammar there. There ARE... not there IS. Anyway, I've seen some local dealers use this Panduit. It usually comes in white or beige that I've seen. You run it along baseboards etc. Cable companies use a form of it in apartment buildings.
