Just rewatched the scene and I don't know. Billy is usually pretty stiff. If it is Billy, it's pure random. There is nothing that indicates he has a sense of humor before entering the jungle.

Yeah, it's a take of Billy laughing from later on in the film that's just been dubbed in which is why it sounds like him, but he ain't laughing in the scene and nor is anyone else.

The same laugh happens here again as well (go to the end of the vid) and IF I remember correctly, I didn't see anyone laugh here either.

Didn’t notice that before. Just found an excuse to watch Predator again.

Sorry folks, back to the real sexual predator discussion.

I know that De Palma got screwing on financing for Domino, so the sloppy, patched-together quality of the film isn't entirely his fault, but it was still a bitter pill to swallow after waiting six years after his previous movie.

Plus, the man in almost 80, so with this virus going around, it might not be the best idea to have him prepping a strenuous film shoot at his age.

'PREDATOR' TITLE GOING BACK TO 'CATCH AND KILL'

Quote:
Q: Are you still working on the Weinstein-inspired project, "Predator"?

De Palma: Yes, but I had an original title I went back to. When I heard about the whole "catch and kill" thing with the Trump scandals, I immediately said that's a great title -- long before Ronan (Farrow) got a hold of it. Fortunately, I copywrited it. So it's "Catch and Kill" now. It's basically a horror movie based on real things that have happened in the news.

Q: Do you have a target for shooting "Catch and Kill"?

De Palma: Hopefully in August.

It was pretty obvious the title was going to change at some point. I just hope the movie turns out good.

I still haven't brought myself to watch Domino despite my forgiving love of lesser De Palma...this project however seems like it could be something special. What are the odds of getting De Palma at his best with this project? Say if no one is holding him back (i.e, producers or budget) will this be top tier? I hope so!

Definitely prefer the title Catch and Kill.

De Palma got screwed on Domino (a lot of the financing he was promised fell through), so I'm sure Catch & Kill would be better with more money and creative freedom. Passion wasn't a movie I wasn't crazy about the first time, but it's grown on me after a few viewings.

I have total faith in De Palma. Domino was a fluke, imo - it was the first film of his I wasn't crazy about since Snake Eyes.
