Quantum Blu-ray @ Best Buy - Digital Copy - Blu-ray Forum

Did anyone notice that there was suppose to be a digital copy with the Blu-ray edition of Quantum of Solace (according to the ad) at Best Buy? Did anyone get a copy with it included? The store in Surprise, AZ did not have it and said it was a printing error in the ad. Has anyone heard of this being corrected, new editions coming out with digital copy?

I live in Surprise and ran into the same issue at that Best Buy store. I checked online and I did not see where anyone mentioned a digital copy with this release.

Nope, there is no digital copy with this release the most you will fine would be different blu-ray case use and a 5.00 coupon in QOS...but not from Best Buy.

I got my copy from Best Buy - no weird case and I DID receive a $5 coupon.

No digital copy, it was a misprint. The one in Chicago I went to says there is currently NO copies that have a digital version included.

I posted in the "hot deals" due to the fact that it was in the Best Buy AD ... so it kinda dealed w/ being a FALSE Hot Deal-ish. Thank you all for your positive responses ...

Geesh how many Blu-ray.com members live in Surprise AZ? I live here too.... this isn't that big a city.

I'm betting there will be a two-disc special edition for the holidays. They pulled the same trick with Casino Royale. That's why I am waiting.

I asked my Best Buys too, I got it & no digital copy either and no $5.00 cupon, but I did get the Casino Royal collectors edition for $10.00 off the add, oh well..I'm upstate ny ..

I had Dark Knight before I had my Pioneer BDP-51FD, so its not Blu-ray but it also was supposed to include a Digital copy. Turns out you have to download it. Its a free DL but still disappointing, regardless.

That's how digital copies work. You put the disc in and the code and then it puts it on your computer.
