It is but what makes it work is that the framework is absolutely serious, and everyone plays it pure deadpan as if they are in an actual disaster film, which makes the jokes land so well. That's the mistake so many of the later period spoof movies make. Apart from the concept being stale, there's too much mugging and telegraphing of the humour and that, sadly, includes films made by the same Z-A-Z guys.

A remastered version of this masterpiece was long overdue! Sits comfortably next to The Naked Gun as one of the best comedies I ever watched

If they remaster it the same way they did To Catch a Thief, I wouldn't be getting too excited.

I was saying that on the last page too! And it seems Fatal Attraction may not be as good as it should be.
