Default The Official "That movie made me mad!" Thread.

For what ever reason, we've all seen a movie that didn't live up to our expecations. I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about the movies that are going along at a good pace. You're thinking to yourself, "hey, this is pretty good." Then out of the blue, at some random point in the movie, could be half way through it or at the end (not the beginning of course), the producers and studio decide to do something absolutely rediculous that ruins the movie to the point where it can not be salvaged! Those really p*** me off! I've commited the time and money and this is how you repay me!?

I've got a long list but these 2 I've been waiting to get off my chest for some time now!

1) This one really hurts because the Alien Franchise is my all time favourite and I would admit at one time I was borderline obsessed with it.

Alien Resurrection: The Newborn. WTF AND WHY!? No more needs to be said.

2) I won't lie, I make my wife watch a lot of guy movies so in return, I do watch HER chick flix. If it's good, I can admit it and maybe even . IF THEY (SPOILER ALERT) GO AND KILL OFF THE MALE STAR AT THE END BY DROWNING HIM WHICH ADDS NOTHING TO THE MOVIE AT ALL...I CAN'T JUST LET IT SLIDE. THANK YOU MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE...THANK YOU!

I don't think a movie has ever made me mad. Well, there are the stupid sequels like Dumb and Dumberer and Son of the Mask...

Any and all chick flicks. Hitch would be right up there with movies that make me mad

Sex in the city another one that pissed me off.

I cant stand movies that glamorize men supplicating to women..."oh please like oh please please please" and the women "Oh I am so confused as to what to do, this fairytale will happen if I continue to be aloof to the world, I just know it"

Wow, I swear I just finished bashing it in my other thread...

Somewhere around the time Peter started dancing in the jazz club in Spiderman 3. I was fine with the goofy pic of Willem Dafoe, and Sandman being sentimental, and MJ singing, even his strutting, but once that jazz club scene occurred it bothered me for getting excited to see the movie. So unnecessary and all it did was damage the movie.

I kept waiting for something in TDK to annoy me but thankfully that didn't happen.

Oh, and the ending of Garden State. The movie was going so smoothly then had such a cliche ending.

this thread rules. i was angry when i watched Elizabethtown for many reasons:

1) 2 hours of my life i will never get back
2) £5.00 down the pan
3) Cameron Crowe used to be a good film maker
4) Susan Sarandon's speech near the end of the film embarrased me so much that i couldn't look at the screen.

hey, i know this is a film that makes you angry thread, but does anyone else get embarrased by certain movie scenes? like they're just so badly done or OTT that you can't watch? (or am i just a total freak?)

If those movies caught you off guard with the plots...what the heck were you expecting then?

I wasn't expecting anything. I was just surprised at how accurate my prediction was.

The remake of The Fog. I was really enjoying the movie, and then it seemed to me like they ran out of monry or something and didn't finish it. I didn't understand the ending at all.

Crash

I saw that movie after the Oscars, and after everyone basically çreamed their pants over the movie. When I saw that film, I was not only hugely disappointed, but it was about as predictable of a movie as I've ever seen...especially since I was expecting so much more.

I saw it in September 2005 on DVD and enjoyed it, but I'm still not sure why it won the Oscar. Same reason I have no desire to see Slumdog now, it just seems so trendy now; buddy of mine saw it back in September coincidently before all the buzz started.

Default Babel

I saw Babel at the theaters and I remember wanting to punch the screen. The scene where Brad Pitt's kids and nanny are trying to cross the border but her brother is driving the car after a long night of partying. The cop at the border crossing who's played by Cliff Collins(Traffic, Capote) is a bleep. You just know what's going to happen because of this nice little cameo. I wanted to punch his charachter. lol.

Mine:

Old School
Anchorman

Both are classics until about the mid-way point. Then they fall off hard.
