Default You two are funny

It's fine - I can get the rental, (can't bus it - 30 min drive each way), and see how much it is going to cost and for the best. - I think i'll be fine and can still order the T90e's at least.

you shouldve sold me your entire system for $100 bucks.
then i be REAL happy....lol

those tsi 100's you have are the 'new version' of the monitor 30s, correct?

i was debating getting an extra set of 30s for 7.1(i have an onkyo 806)
is it really worth it do do 7.1 or is there not enough material to justify it at this time?

thanks man

Yes, the Tsi100's Are the newer/updated version of the 30's -- Direct from an email reply from a guy at Polk last week, when I asked him that very question. I'll be getting the Tsi100's shortly myself - $50 more than the 30's but they Do have them in Black, whereas the 30's have only been avail. there in Maple. Plus the Finish on the 100's is very nice!

+1 on what aerodude73 said about the TSI100's, they are very nice indeed! As for the 7.1 set-up...if done right, the back surround can add a noticable improvement in SQ. If you are wondering what to do with your old speakers, use them to provide yourself with a 7.1 system. Although there is not a lot of material out there, having it when you do get a blu-ray with 7.1 makes it all worth it!

Default RM6750's - keep 2 for 7.1?

Since my couch/viewing spot is Right up against a wall, with a window behind it, would it be even worth it to hang 2 speakers from my RM6750 set above me for 7.1? I'm thinking just inside the 2 Tsi100's when I get them from above, angled down towards the center viewing spot. I know the best 7.1 spot is usually Behind but without that option, is this even worth it?

Just thinking out loud really. Thanks for any input.

For newegg, you have to jump on the deals as soon as you see them and not wait until they drop in price again. That might be the last time you see them.

Whew! Im glad i ordered the Monitor 30's while they still had them on newegg. I was gonna order another pair and just use them later on when i have room for 7.1. I hope they bring them back on the site. Even $99 is a great deal for these.

Monitor 30's blacks are now $119 compared to a few days ago when they were $130. Maples are still $99.

Yeah, that's annoying - lol - to match most speaker systems, whom I assume use black, we get charged an extra $20. I guess the Maples were in demand also. I might order the Blacks Friday, as they match the finish better with my T90e's.

Lol - what'd you buy the Maples when the Blacks weren't available, and now you want the black ones?

That's why i've been waiting. Unless I score some 40's, i'll prob. get the $119.99 Black Monitor 30's Friday. Good luck.
