I just got me a brand new Samsung ln52a650 a few days ago and i love it, but tonight while watching no country for old men i started to hear a crackling sound. Now i have a Yamaha surround sound and i have the volume turned all the way down on the tv so at first i thought it was one of my speakers. So i go to put my ear by it and guess what its coming from the back of the tv where the speakers are. So i go into the menu and turn off the tv speakers through the menu and it went away. So yes my problem is solved because of that but i was wondering if anyone has encountered the same thing or something similar..Thanks.

If you have surround sound....you should have the tv speakers off. It creates interference all around....that and it messes up how your surround sound should act. Sounds like an interference issue....I'd recommend leaving the tv speakers off and using the surround sound as intended.
