Can you post a picture of it? You sure your sharpness isn't set way too high?

Reduce your sharpness to 0 and see what your results are.

Grain=good. You can try turning on the Digital Noise Reduction on your TV and also on your PS3, but doing so will result in a loss of picture detail. grain is a part of film my friend.

Yeah, some movies it's more noticable than others. If its really that bad, turn on the DNR on your TV and also go to your A/V settings on the PS3(during the movie) and turn on the DNR also. and turning you AutoMotion Plus to medium will help a little also.

Maybe you are sitting too close to the tv. It can't be bad to the point it's distracting. Lower your sharpness and try sitting 1ft further away. Digital noise reduction makes the picture too soft imo. But try that as well.

There is not a lot of grain on the Dark Knight. Not all movies have a lot of grain. Is that screenshot of the italian job by chance? if so that movie is grainy and noisy to begin with. It was one of the early Blu ray titles and ranks among the worst looking transfers to date. It's normal.
Usually if you watch a movie on cable/sat it is compressed to the point you can't even see grain but the picture is softer and lacks detail. Grain is good
